Auction terms
Every effort is made to assure the correctness of the catalog. However, all announcements made from the auction block take precedence over any printed material.
Delivery
The minimum load requirement is 42,000 lb net weight or greater.
Warranties
Cattle are weighed on certified scales meeting GIPSA (Grain Inspection, Packers & Stockyards Administration) regulations.
Payment
A part payment of $100.00 per head is due and payable at the conclusion of the auction.
CCV responsibility
Cattle Country Video is a production company only and assumes no financial responsibility for cattle represented in its video sales.
Slides
A slide is a sliding-scale price adjustment applied when the cattle's actual pay weight differs from the base weight listed in the catalog. The slide protects both buyer and seller against variation between the estimated and delivered weights.
For example, the price may adjust by 2 cents if the pay weight exceeds the base weight by 36 lb or more.
- Traditional Slide — the price adjusts down as the average pay weight rises above the base weight.
- Weight Stop — the slide caps at a set weight, so cattle above that point pay no further adjustment.
- Two-Way Slide — the price adjusts in both directions, up or down, as the pay weight falls below or rises above the base weight.
Breeding heifers, breeding cows & feeding heifers
Special terms apply to breeding heifers, breeding cows, and feeding heifers. These categories carry their own delivery, warranty, and payment provisions — refer to the sale catalog and contact your CCV representative for the full detail before consigning or bidding.
